Clark G. Nichols is a native of Scotts Bluff County and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Law. After graduating from Law School, Nichols spent a short time on active duty with the United States Army Reserve and six years as an officer in the Army National Guard. He finished his military career as an Artillery Fire Direction Officer, with the rank of Captain. After his active duty, Nichols returned to Alliance, Nebraska, where he was County Attorney for two years, and then moved to Scottsbluff where he has been in private practice since 1958.

Nichols represents clients in the areas of real estate, probate, trust and estate law, business organization, elder law and agriculture. Nichols is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, Scotts Bluff County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before all Nebraska Courts, the Federal District Court in Nebraska, the 8th and 10th Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association Committee on Real Estate Practice Guidelines. He is a trained mediator, certified for Federal and State Court mediation.

Prior to law school, Nichols attended Scottsbluff High School and Junior College, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, then graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Economics.

Nichols enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, writing, and singing in a barber shop quartet and chorus. He is an Eagle Scout and has been active in Boy Scout leadership throughout his career.
